Amazing from start to finish.that aside it’s not easy, but you are constantly helped along by Basu and his team from Nepal Hiking who I can not... read more recommend enough, the staff here are absolutely amazing and selfless in their actions and give everything to ensure we were made as comfortable as possible. We see lots of teams going up and down, and don’t think any seemed as chilled and happy as ours were.
Thanks Basu and Team you made our trip that extra bit special.

I got sick during the trek with a stomach flu which lasted almost the whole trek. The guide made sure I was able to continue (as per my own wishes) and accomendated me to make the trek as easy as possible and give me as much rest as I needed. Thanks Mr Basu!
I would recommend NHT for this trip.

Always caring and fun, he certainly improved the experience and got us where we needed to go. Assistant guide Rajesh, ever silent, was diligent in his work as well as our porters. Only hiccup was that we were unable to get flights to/from Kathmandu and Lukla so had to use a neighbouring airport instead, this did mean we got to see a bit more of the country though. Would happily recommend NHT.

Once I arrived in Nepal it was immediately clear I had made the right decision.
I was picked up from the airport, and driven to the hotel where I met Ganga and my guide Dinesh.
Dinesh checked that the equipment I had brought with me was suitable, and NHT provided me a down jacket.
The next day we flew out of Kathmandu, to EBC and Island Peak.
Dinesh looked after me for the next 12 days in the mountains.
He is an expert on the local area. Point at any mountain, and he can tell you how high it is and what its name is.
He has travelled extensively over the area for more than 8 years, and he uses this knowledge to enrich your holiday experience.
Every hotel you stay in, he knows the owners, and ensures you get a comfortable room.
Need your washing done, or a hot shower? He will recommend where (and where not!) to get it done.
When you are walking the trails he can tell you how much further you have to go, what bits will be difficult, and which easier.

  Amazing experience with Prakash and Nepal hiking team - We had an amazing time completing the Everest Base Camp Trek with Nepal Hiking Team in late November and early December 2022, we had already completed another trek with the... read more team (the Annapurna Circuit) back in 2019, so we didn't hesitate to book our second trek in Nepal with them.

Ganga, as always, was responsive right away and answered all of our inquiries. We could even request a specific guide and he allowed us to personalize our trip.

We were wonderfully taken care of by Prakash, who was also our tour guide on the first trek and was the most considerate and helpful guide ever. Throughout the trip, everything ran smoothly and was well organized. For future trekkers, the only thing to be mindful at this time of the year is it can get quite cold at night and bedrooms in tea houses aren't heated! so getting out of the bed was the most challenging time of the day ;)
