Always caring and fun, he certainly improved the experience and got us where we needed to go. Assistant guide Rajesh, ever silent, was diligent in his work as well as our porters. Only hiccup was that we were unable to get flights to/from Kathmandu and Lukla so had to use a neighbouring airport instead, this did mean we got to see a bit more of the country though. Would happily recommend NHT.

They went above and beyond to make these arrangements.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about our guide, Ganga. I could not have asked for a better guide. He was attentive, knowledgeable, kind, funny and took care of our group every step of the way. His experience seemed unmatched by the other companies’ guides on the trail. I trusted him 100% and he made all of us feel like family. Despite unprecedented crowds on the trail due to the backlog of trekkers when the airport opened, Ganga was still able to arrange the best accommodations for us.

I would not hesitate to use Nepal Hiking Team for another trek in Nepal and would definitely request Ganga.

  We took our family of five to Nepal in mid-June to hike the Langtang Valley Trek. With 3 young children under the age of 10, we decided to go with... read more the Nepal Hiking Team. The owner, Ganga, was very organized and set up several family hiking options for us. Our hiking guide, Arjun Sigdel, was very knowledgeable about the area, culture, food, and geography. He was very flexible and accommodating to our children’s needs. We hired a guide, Dhuuba Itani, to carry our 3-year-old and he was very patient and calm. The Nepal Hiking Team provided two guys, Namaraj Thapa and Sandeep Bhatta, to carry our gear which we appreciated so much. It was a great team and our kids loved hiking the Langtang Valley Trek with them. This 6-day hike was the perfect amount of challenge for our kids. We loved our deep conversations while hiking, singing songs, and playing cards at night in the tea huts.
