We were able to complete ALL three passes (Kongm La, Chola and Renjo La), Chukhung Ri, Kala Patthar and Everest Base Camp! Our guide Thakal and our porter Santa are amazing at what they do! Our guide was so knowledgeable about the area and was very organised with getting... read more us the best rooms in each spot ahead of time, giving us advice to cope with high altitude, cold and best foods to eat, brought crampons for us (which we definitely needed!) and even looked after some friends we made on the trek as well for the Thorong La crossing. He also gave us many insights into Buddhism and Hindu festivals and practices which we observed along the way. Tuk was also fabulous and was a welcome smiling face at the end of each day and great company overall. The company made sure we had very comfortable accommodation at the Woodapple Hotel as well on either end and in Pokhara.

If you are a fit and experienced hiker you might find it a little slow at first but it is all worth it when it means you can get over the pass easily later on.
